First Annual Clarendon Elite Cup set to kick off in July

The Clarendon Elite Sports Program is a non-profit organization established through AJR Sporting Goods, owned and operated by Anthony Baker. The foundation was created with a clear mission: to, develop, improve and promote exceptional sportsmanship among high school football teams.

Anthony Baker, a retired US ARMY VETERAN and  a former high Dacosta cup football player, was inspired by his mother, who dedicated over 16 years to serving her community. Motivated by his passion for football and a deep-rooted commitment to giving back, Anthony, with the support of family and friends, founded the Clarendon Elite Cup as a way to combine these two values.

With a strong belief in the power of sports to shape young lives, the organization aims to create opportunities, foster community pride, and celebrate teamwork and integrity on and off the field.

The First Annual Clarendon Elite Cup will kick off on July 25, 2025, featuring eight prominent high school teams competing not just for glory, but for a chance to win over $1,000,000JMD toward their school’s Athletic Department.

This event marks the beginning of a powerful tradition—where sportsmanship, community, and opportunity come together for a greater cause.
